Adipose tissue from autologous fat grafting is now considered the ideal filler for both volume restoration and skin rejuvenation. Fat grafting has been proven to be effective in the deep facial compartments1-2 as an ideal alternative to bioengineered fillers in volume restoration3 given the biocompatibility with existing tissue. Moreover, the isolation of adipose-derived stromal and stem cells (ADSC) promises regenerative, antiinflammatory, and immunomodulatory advantages.
